I am retired from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. I managed State parks for 32 years. The last 12 years I was the Regional Land Manager of the Northeast region.

After retirement my wife and I decided to go full time rving. That was 15 years ago! Our blog 

We winter in Tucson,AZ and summer in the Northwest, primarily in Oregon, where we do hosting in their State Parks.

While in Tucson at the Rincon Country West Rv Resort, I serve as the trailmaster for the Desert Explorers hiking club.
